"Transform Lives Through Dance"

Omar Paloma started as a singer and received his original dance education in the streets of Brooklyn New York in the 60’s and 70‘s. Although surrounded by dance in music from birth it was a a performance of the Nutcracker by American Ballet theatre and a subsequent chance encounter/discovery of a ballet studio on the lower east side of Manhattan that led to Omar’s initial interest in formal dance training.

Omar has been teaching dance for over 25 years, initially as a Jazz Dance teacher and eventually teaching Ballet, Hip Hop, Popping, locking, and Breaking and his own version of Rhythm Stomp and has taught workshops all over the world. He has even co-authored a dance syllabus with Street Dance as it’s foundation for the prestigious Boris Eifmann academy in St. Petersburg, Russia.

His teaching includes Popping, Locking and Hip Hop and Stomp at AO College. Omar is also a recognised speaker on Hip Hop and Street Dance development.

Omar has performed and choreographed in musicals, dance and stage productions, and concert singing productions all over the world.
